Position Information : Working in the patient access center, performs tasks to contribute to the efficient day?to?day operations and a positive patient experience. This position will primarily be the voice heard when customers and patients call UCR Health. Under the general supervision of the supervisor, performs a full range of call center duties. Duties include prompt and courteous telephone assistance to callers, answering and screening a high volume of incoming calls, verifying financial and geographic eligibility, scheduling / canceling patient appointments according to their insurance and assigned provider, taking and routing messages to the correct department pools, verifying and updating patient demographics, checking appointment availability across clinic sites, pre?registering callers and patients in the electronic medical record system, and performing other duties as assigned. This position may be assigned to work remotely and at various UCR Health clinic locations and may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays. The full salary range for the Call Center Representative is $25.38 $35.97 per hour, with offers based on education, licensure, certifications, experience, and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
