THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and reliable full-service lead carpenter to join our team. The lead carpenter is responsible for leading a small team and managing projects consisting of anything from small home repairs to large renovations on both residential and light commercial structures. The lead carpenter works with the superintendent to ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent carpentry skills, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE

• Coordinate with Remodeling Consultants, contractors, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, cabinet installation, and finishing.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of carpentry work.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Provide guidance, instruction, and supervision to carpentry team members.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure that team members understand their responsibilities.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment conducive to productivity and growth.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure that all work meets established standards and specifications.
• Address any issues promptly and effectively.
• Strive to achieve excellence in craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and guidelines to minimize risks and promote a safe work environment.
