Position Overview :
The High School Tutor is responsible for providing personalized academic support to students in grades 9-12 in the specific content area (Math, English, Science, History). This role aims to enhance students’ understanding and mastery of course material, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages academic growth and confidence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide individualized and small group tutoring sessions in content area (Math, English, Science, History) to reinforce classroom learning.
- Assess students' academic needs and develop targeted lesson plans to address learning gaps.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring with instructional goals and curriculum.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Track and report on student progress, making adjustments to tutoring strategies as necessary.
- Assist in the development of instructional materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
