Summary :
The Chief Financial Officer oversees Memorial Hospital Miramar's financial planning, budgeting, and ongoing adherence to budget, as well as policies and practices in collaboration with executive leadership.
Responsibilities :
Serves as liaison for financial matters between the hospital and executive leadership, management, financial institutions and regulatory agencies.Serves as a member of the leadership team and participates in development of the organization's vision, policies and short / long-term objectives.Directs / manages the hospital's financial, accounting, budgeting, audit / controls / standards / activities and statistical reporting.Recommends current financial and industry trends for cost effective and efficient solutions.

Masters (Required)AHCA Background Screening (AHCA) - State of Florida (FL)
Additional Job Information :
Complexity of Work : Deep understanding of hospital finance, healthcare reimbursement, and regulatory compliance.
Required Work Experience : Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive financial leadership experience. Experience as a senior financial executive in a hospital or health system managing financial operations.
Other Information : Additional Education Information : Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.Additional Certification Information : CPA certification is preferred but not required.
