Client Service Representative (Veterinary Receptionist)

Are you a people-person who loves animals too? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where every day brings something new? Orange Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Client Service Representative (CSR) to be the warm, welcoming face (and voice) our clients count on.
At Orange Veterinary Hospital , CSRs are essential members of our team — not just receptionists, but vital communicators and compassionate guides for our clients and their pets. You'll be the first and last impression for those visiting our hospital, helping to create a friendly, calm, and professional environment for all.

What You'll Do :
Greet clients in person and over the phone with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency
Schedule and confirm appointments based on medical needs and client preferences
Communicate with empathy during stressful or emotional situations
Maintain an organized and welcoming front office and lobby
Educate clients on wellness plans, prescription diets, and in-house products
Perform opening / closing procedures and reconcile end-of-day reports and deposits
Accurately manage data entry, client records, and patient intake
Check clients in and out, review invoices, and process financial transactions
What We’re Looking For :
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service (veterinary experience is a plus!)
Comfortable with Microsoft Office and general computer skills
Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
A calm, compassionate demeanor — especially in high-pressure situations
Willingness to learn veterinary terminology and work closely with both clients and the medical team
Ability to stay seated and focused for much of the day
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
