Position Summary (Purpose of job) :
The Clinical Laboratory Technical Consultant provides technical and scientific oversight of each of the specialties of service in which the laboratory performs testing. The consultant interfaces with the administration and laboratory staff, sales force, vendors, consulting team and leaders, and corporate personnel and leadership during all applications of the position. This position is also responsible to meet consulting revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Responsible / oversight of customers account with respect to all state, local, and federal regulatory agencies
Ensure laboratory records for customer as well as documentation for laboratory operation are current within the project management software
Assess customer opportunities that enable the customer to advance quality testing of patient care
Stay current with advancements in laboratory technology as well as any changed to regulatory and compliance standards that includes but is not limited to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) updates
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements :
- Qualified candidates should have one of the following from an accredited institution :
- Doctoral or Master degree in a laboratory science
- Bachelor or Associate degree in a laboratory science, medical technology, or equalivent degree
- Associates Degree in a laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution
