• Please note, benefits and benefits eligibility can vary by position, exclusions may apply for some roles (for example : Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities planning for an assigned service or population.
• Collaborate with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans / programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
• Identify and / or develop teaching tools and instructional materials.
• Keep records of educational activities and prepares reports. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration :
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Educator specializing in Childbirth preferred. Education :
• Diploma from an accredited school / college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Additional Preferences Experience in senior care is strongly preferred.
