Responsibilities
The Department of Computer Science at New York Institute of Technology, LI and NYC, is looking for an adjunct professor to teach Computer Science and an introductory course for all Engineering and Computing Science undergraduate students at its Long Island (Old Westbury) and NYC campuses.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a M.S or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, or Electrical Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related area.
Teaching experience or industrial experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, programming languages LISP, PROLOG and object-oriented programming and related Lab applications are preferred.

New York Tech considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience / expertise, education / training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and / or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer. Adjunct Faculty offered hourly rate is contingent on applicable rank.

USD $97.00 / Hr.
Maximum Salary
USD $106.00 / Hr.
