Controller - Skilled Nursing Facilities
Located in Woodbury, NY
Salary Range $125K - $150K
Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of and support the company’s strategic plans
Monitor the financial performance of the company
Compile and analyze monthly financial reporting packages
Communicate financial metrics to senior management
Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments
Manage the preparation of payroll for personnel
Qualifications:
Must have minimum of 2 years of experience as a Controller in a nursing home setting
BA in Accounting or Finance required
Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role with proven track record and processes to organize, implement, and manage entire company accounting process
Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations
Proficient in Excel
Advanced computer skills; Computer knowledge and ability with aptitude to learn applicable software
