Job description
A company is looking for a Database Architect to join their team.
Key Responsibilities :
Leads and plans complex database design, development, implementation, administration, tuning, ETL, and backup and recovery
Collaborates with team members on design, development, and support issues while mentoring other database team members
Installs and upgrades databases, develops SQL and scripts, performs troubleshooting, and implements backup and recovery procedures
Required Qualifications :
Experience with multiple relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, DB2, Sybase, Informix, Access) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
Ability to write complex database code, up to 5000 lines in one package
Understanding of architectural patterns and alignment with Enterprise Architecture
Active IRS MBI clearance required
Experience in requirements gathering, design documentation, and following change management processes
