Key Responsibilities :
Coordinate the implementation of individualized mental health and substance abuse treatment. Provide ongoing evaluation, assessment, and counseling to youth and their families under the direct clinical supervision of a licensed mental health professional.

Requirements :
Education : A Masters degree, from an accredited university or college in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or in a related human services field, is required.
Experience : Two years experience working with children with serious emotional disturbances or substance abuse problems. If the candidate has a masters degree in an appropriate field, the experience requirement is preferred, but not required. Experience with group work techniques is a plus. Must be licensed with one of the following : LMFT, LPC-MHSP, LCSW or a Licensed psychologist with HSP designation.
Skills : Sound understanding of group leadership, group dynamics, and experiential education. Advanced oral and written communication skills.
Physical Demands : Must be in good physical health and emotionally stable. Must be able to move about the property. Must be able to participate in youth activities. Must be able to transport youth or staff. Must be free of communicable diseases as defined by the state and to the extent that data is attainable under the law. Must be able to pass evaluation of physical techniques and written certification exam.
Other : Must maintain an appropriate and valid state drivers license. Must meet state criminal background check requirements. Must be able to occasionally work irregular hours.
