We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Sr. Electrical Designer to join our vibrant team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a diverse team of professionals working on a variety of challenging projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading electrical system design for commercial and institutional building projects, with a particular focus on healthcare, higher education, or mission critical projects. As a Sr. Electrical Designer, you will be the backbone of our electrical design team. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 1. Leading the electrical system design for a variety of commercial and institutional building projects. 2. Applying your strong understanding of NEC and other applicable electrical codes to ensure all designs are compliant. 3. Leveraging your experience with lighting design and power distribution systems to create efficient and effective electrical solutions. 4. Managing multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring all deliverables are met with the highest level of quality. 5. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans. 6. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers, helping to enhance their skills and knowledge. 7. Continually staying updated on the latest industry trends and technologies, and incorporating them into your designs where applicable. To be successful in this role, you will need: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Designer in the construction industry. 2. A strong understanding of NEC and applicable electrical codes. 3. Experience with healthcare, higher education, or mission critical projects. 4. Proven expertise in lighting design and power distribution systems. 5. The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 6. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills. 7. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
