Position Summary :

The Project Reporting Controller team supports Deriva Energy's business. Team members actively partner with the business to support a growing portfolio of non-regulated solar and wind assets. The Lead Analyst - Project Reporting Controller will be responsible for preparing all reporting aspects of assigned solar and wind operating projects, including various project deliverables (lender requirements under project / portfolio financings including financial statements and debt service coverage ratios among other things), and interacting with various internal and external parties. This role requires familiarity with a variety of accounting concepts, practices and procedures to assist with the reporting of the assigned projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong attributes for accuracy and will be highly detail-oriented.

Responsibilities :

• Primary point of contact with external stakeholders (debt investors, equity investors, external auditors, and vendors and consultants as required)
• Prepare quarterly unaudited and annual audited financial statements for assigned project / portfolio financings / partnerships
• Prepare periodic debt service coverage ratio filings for assigned project / portfolio financings
• Owner of the detailed trial balances for assigned project / portfolio financings / partnerships
• Oversee analytical reviews of assigned projects' results and the communications of the results to internal management and external stakeholders
• Be knowledgeable of assigned projects / portfolios by reviewing financing and partnership agreements
• Ensure compliance with debt covenants, and any new applicable accounting standards
• Complete ad hoc requests for internal and external parties or special projects, as assigned
