Summary

We are seeking a skilled and professional Heavy Recovery Operator to operate heavyduty recovery vehicles and provide towing and recovery services for commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will excel in advanced recovery techniques ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards and deliver exceptional roadside assistance. Additionally the operator will provide support to customers both in person and through remote or virtual consultations advising on recovery procedures or vehicle safety and maintaining detailed service documentation to support both onsite and virtual interactions. Candidates must have a modern smartphone with an active internet connection to efficiently manage orders and assignments through the company app. Proficiency in navigating mobile applications digital platforms and appbased workflows is essential for seamless task execution and communication.

Job Specifics

Operate heavyduty recovery vehicles for towing and recovery of commercial vehicles.
Perform advanced recovery tasks including winching and vehicle uprighting.
Respond to roadside assistance requests for jumpstarts tyre changes lockouts and other support services.
Ensure secure and safe vehicle transportation following all safety protocols.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks for recovery vehicles.
Maintain accurate service records and logs of towing activities.
Provide professional and courteous customer service even in highpressure situations.
Adhere strictly to local state and federal towing regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.

Comprehensive knowledge of towing safety practices equipment handling and regulatory standards

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in heavyduty towing and recovery for commercial vehicles.

Proficiency in advanced recovery techniques including winching and vehicle uprighting.

Proven ability to handle complex roadside challenges under pressure.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction.
