Job Description
This position is for a staff therapist who is responsible for planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients. Additionally, you must have a strong knowledge in patient care specifically treating hand and upper extremity injuries but not limited to tendon and nerve lacerations / repair, tendon transfers, static and dynamic splinting, casting, modalities, brachial plexus injuries, and post-operative care and positioning.
As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will responsible for the evaluation, development and implementation of effective patient treatment plans to restore, compensate or adapt for loss of patient function and planning and administering medically prescribed therapy treatments in accordance with federal, state and professional standards governing the facility and their discipline.
Job Requirements
- 3 Years Hand Experience
- 4 Years Therapy Experience
- Graduate of AOTA accredited school
- TX State therapy license
- Occasional Travel
