Key Responsibilities Verify accuracy and completeness of financial, insurance, and demographic information for patients Obtain and confirm insurance eligibility, benefits, and requirements prior to patient discharge Resolve issues related to primary insurance and coordination of benefits (COB) information Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Two years of experience in healthcare insurance eligibility, verification, or billing Knowledge of insurance coverage and COB rules Experience with insurance payor systems EPIC training / experience and ICD-10 medical terminology preferred
