Job Description
Summary :
The client is seeking an Implementation Specialist to be a key member of the Implementation Team responsible for technology support associated with market leading Healthcare applications.
Under general supervision manages the training and workflow process for the installation of the Lynx inventory management system in physician practices based on the specific workflow determined with the project team.
Analyses and redesigns workflow to ensure the maximum effectiveness in the use of Lynx and other integrated technologies by the end users.
Acts as the primary support person for end users during project implementation.
Supports and adheres to the client Technology Compliance Program to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Primary Responsibilities :
Conducts onsite or webbased training for customers as well as equipment installation.
High level of application knowledge is required.
Executes on defined practice workflow implementation checklists and end user training materials.
Supports the adoption of Lynx integrated solution in customer environment.
Follows customer training plans and Implementation Checklists. Assesses user abilities and tailors training to meet customers needs.
Ensures participation innovation and decisionmaking among group; effectively uses facilitation tools and group process techniques.
Responsible for achieving project goals and meeting milestones. Supports customers during implementation both remotely and onsite as appropriate.
Provides implementation change management support of the Lynx systems into physician practices.
Exercises good judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Core Competencies :
Healthcare technology implementation experience
Training experience in both at the elbow and remote scenarios
Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Understanding and listening to team members and fostering a productive team environment
Encouraging constructive interactions among team members in order to address difficult situations
Resolving and negotiating conflicts or problems with tact diplomacy and composure
Handling multiple projects and priorities with strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient in advanced techniques with relevant software : MS Project Excel PowerPoint Word etc. in addition to experience working within shared work environments
Effective time management skills to meet deadlines
Minimum Requirements :
2 years work experience training implementing and / or supporting clinical staff and providers in use of inventory management EHR or other clinical systems.
2 years experience in health care environment preferred clinic setting.
Proficiency in MS Word Excel CSV WebEx and PDF file
Writes succinctly Writing of site notes and policies and procedures is both clear and succinct.
Expresses ideas and conveys information in a minimum of words.
Appropriately uses written communications.
Additional Skills :
Specialized Knowledge / Skills
12 years experience in clinical environment such as hospital or clinic
Staging Computer equipment and peripherals.
Setup Lynx Cabinets install remote locks and other Lynx hardware
Basic understanding of Web Browsers : Internet Explorer Google Chrome & Firefox
Basic understanding of Operating Systems (i.e. Windows Mac Android)
Basic understanding of Network appliances (network panels hubs switches CAT5 / 6 Ethernet cables & Drops) and concepts (CAT5 Ethernet Wireless Access IP Configuration Internet bandwidth)
Education :
Bachelors degree or work experience equivalent in nursing pharmacy information systems or related healthcare field.
