Responsible for completing a variety of activities around accurate and timely research and maintenance, filing, payment, and issue resolution for all client payroll taxes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Calculate, file and submit payment for original and amended taxes based on agency specific requirements.
Research, track and resolve assigned tax notices from agencies and assigned tickets from clients and service departments
Proof other specialists work to identify any errors for correction before they are sent out.
Research and review agency changes and updates to ensure current processes are still in alignment with agency requirements.
Perform audits and collaborate with agencies and internal business partners to manage and maintain accuracy on client tax actions.
Assist in special projects and assignments including training and testing.
Education / Certification :
High School Diploma
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience :
1+ year of administrative, accounting , payroll, data entry, or related experience
Skills / Abilities : Detail oriented.
Well organized.
Cooperative and able to effectively work on a team.
Ability to use computer applications, printers, copier, fax machine and telephone. Intermediate computer skills in Excel, MS Office Suite, Outlook and Web-based Platforms.
Advanced knowledge of mathematics, accounting, tax and finance principles.
Advanced knowledge of complex auditing, reconciliation and general ledger principles.
Knowledge of payroll accounting and principles.
Demonstrated experience in customer relationships with moderately to very complex products and services with limited supervision.
Demonstrated ability to use self-discretion, time management and prioritization of daily tasks and responsibilities.
Ability to perform research and effectively solve problems.
Ability to build trust and collaborative relationships.
Ability to perform research and effectively solve problems.

Ability to manage complex projects with limited supervision.
