As a Senior Developer at Sedgwick County, your focus will be on maintaining and troubleshooting existing software applications, and creating application enhancements.
We run on a Microsoft .NET stack. A successful Senior Developer will bring an aptitude for coding in C# and T-SQL. Because most of our applications are ASP.NET web apps, it also greatly helps to be conversant in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. We have both MVC and WebForms apps on the web, and we have WinForms and console apps on the desktop. You will also encounter a broad range of other technologies as a Senior Developer : Entity Framework, JavaScript frameworks like jQuery and Angular.js, PowerShell, SSRS reports, WCF, ASP.NET WebAPI, and more.
We strive to meet a high standard when it comes to writing secure software that is highly maintainable, performant, and usable. You'll be working as part of a larger team of developers, so the team owns the code. You will both give and receive help with making the team's code meet our standards. Sedgwick County is truly a place to strive for excellence in your craft.
