The Lead RN serves as the primary expert resource and clinical overseer for IV practices. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations related to IV therapy, ensuring adherence to Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC) regulatory standards, and promoting optimal patient outcomes. The Lead RN collaborates with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and efficiency of care and provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.Minimum Requirements1. Accredited school of nursing graduate with a current California State Board of Nursing Registered Nurse License required.2. Minimum of 2 years of recent (within the last 3 years, full-time equivalent) experience in an acute care, ambulatory care or Home Health / palliative / hospice care required.3. Excellent IV skills4. Port access experience required5. Previous Infusion experience preferred but not required6. Previous Oncology Infusion experience preferred but not required7. PICC line certification preferred but not required8. Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI), preferred but not required9. Current CPR / BLS certification required.10.
