Position Overview

The Investment Engineering team is responsible for developing innovative solution and applications to enhance the investment process, improve operation efficiency, and support the overall business objective for Apollo's investment professionals.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our dynamic and growing team at a leading alternative asset manager. This individual will play a key role in delivering high-quality applications and tools that streamline the work of Apollo's investment professionals. The position involves building strong relationships with business stakeholders and fostering cross-department collaboration to ensure seamless product implementation. As part of a forward-thinking organization, you will have the opportunity to drive technical innovation in the alternative asset investment space, gain unique insights into the operations of a top-tier alternative asset manager, and deepen your product development skill set.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the Investment Engineering team in develop and launching new products and features that address the evolving needs of the business, particularly around trading, private deals, and risk management for our Credit and Insurance business
- Collaborate with stakeholders and gather and document business requirements and goals
- Create detailed specifications that define the business problems and how our team will address them
- Gather and analyze user feedback and testing to identify areas of improvement and product enhancement
- Work with engineers to define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog
- Support existing products our team has previous released and identify areas for improvement in terms of functionality, user experience, and efficiency
- Assist project managers / COOs in creating product roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain product documentation including user manuals, release notes, and updates to the business
- Ensure products meet user needs by transitioning complex business requirements into actional features and end-to-end solutions

Pay Range
140,000 - $205,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance.
