Job Title Sr IT Org Change Specialist Job Description The Senior IT Organization Change Specialist’s role is to facilitate the adoption of new or improved IT Change and Configuration Management processes and / or procedures across the organization. These changes in governance focus primarily on IT implementations and transformations. This individual will oversee the development and deployment of change management methodologies and procedures to guide the adoption process. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of organizational directives and business goals. Roles and responsibilities : •Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side change caused by projects and change efforts. •Determine scope for OCM engagement on IT projects, including strategy, estimates and plans. •Develop a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change. •Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan. •Develop and execute a set of actionable and targeted change management plans – including Communication Plan, Stakeholder Analysis and Engagement, and Training Plan. •Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns. •Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner. •Support training effort – including development and / or facilitation of training sessions. •Be an active and visible coach to executive leaders who are change sponsors. •Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions. •Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes. •Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success. •Document and communicate lessons learned to PMO as close of project. Travel Up to 25% Job Type Regular Date Required Job Requirements Skills and Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree •7+ years relevant experience. •Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. •Expert knowledge of data analysis tools. •Expert knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools. •Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal. •Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal. •Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations. •Forward looking with a holistic approach. •Problem solving and root cause identification skills. •Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization. •Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others. •Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges. •Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle. •Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts. •Change management certification or designation preferred.
