Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a board‐certified / board‐eligible orthopaedic trauma surgeon to join two orthopaedic trauma surgeons in its hospital‐employed orthopaedic surgery group. Call responsibilities will be seven days of orthopaedic trauma call per month at a Level 1 trauma center with daily protected operating room time for orthopaedic trauma cases. Successful candidates will have completed an OTA‐accredited orthopaedic trauma fellowship and will have institutional support to cultivate an elective subspecialty practice if so desired. Midlevel support exists to handle ER consults and reductions / splinting, inpatient rounding, and post‐op visits. Successful candidates will be proficient in high‐energy trauma, periarticular fractures, pelvic / acetabulum fractures, geriatric / periprosthetic fractures, and management of osteomyelitis / nonunions.
This is a full‐time employed position with the multi‐specialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability is covered under sovereign immunity.
