Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in handling litigation matters and will play a pivotal role in supporting our attorneys throughout the litigation and trial process. This is a senior-level position requiring strong organizational, research, and communication skills, along with a proactive mindset and with a deep understanding of civil litigation procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Case Management : Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation preparation, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and post-trial matters.
- Document Management : Manage, organize, and review case files, exhibits, and discovery materials; ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to case deadlines.
- Research & Analysis : Conduct legal research and analysis; prepare summaries of case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing litigation.
- Discovery & E-Discovery : Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admissions. Oversee e-discovery processes and document production.
- Deposition & Trial Support : Coordinate and prepare exhibits for depositions and trial, assist in trial preparation, including exhibits, trial binders, witness scheduling, and managing trial logistics.
- Client Communication : Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, gather information, and ensure the progress of cases is aligned with client goals.
- Mentorship : Provide guidance and training to junior paralegals and administrative staff; share best practices and expertise to enhance the overall effectiveness of the litigation team.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation.
Education : Bachelor’s degree preferred; Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program strongly preferred.
