Acupuncturist & Chinese Medicine Practitioner Part-Time Opportunity in Virginia Beach, VA Thrive Proactive Health is seeking a Virginia-licensed Acupuncturist and Oriental Medicine Practitioner for a part-time role (2–3 days/week, 10–16 hours).
This position is ideal for a confident, independent clinician ready to plug into a busy integrative clinic and manage their own caseload within a supportive, cross-disciplinary environment.
We are looking for a reliable, professional provider who is committed to delivering high-quality care, growing their practice, and maintaining clear communication with both patients and the broader clinical team.
Role Responsibilities Deliver personalized acupuncture treatments with holistic, Eastern medicine principles Manage patient caseload with follow-up and relationship-building practices Maintain complete SOAP note documentation in EMR Order department supplies and maintain a clean, professional treatment room Uphold professional standards in safety, hygiene, and patient experience Collaborate with other providers across PT, Chiropractic, Massage, and Fitness as needed with shared patients Participate in niche marketing efforts as a subject matter expert with a marketing team as needed What We Provide Immediate Referral Base from existing patients and internal providers 1-2 private treatment rooms Malpractice insurance coverage Acupuncture supplies Front end receptionist team to schedule out patients and triage calls. In-house billing team for insurance clients Marketing to support incoming new patients.
