Position Overview
The Technical Portfolio Lead is responsible for managing the design, development, organization, delivery and evaluation of specialized learning programs, including technical training, industry-specific courses, and methodology-focused instruction. This role leads a team of portfolio resources and collaborates closely with Learning Partners, subject matter experts (SMEs) and delivery teams to ensure that training initiatives align with organizational needs and objectives. A deep understanding of instructional design, learning operations and content management is essential, along with experience in managing technical, industry and methodology-focused learning in a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development Operations :
- Team Leadership : Lead portfolio resources to support the effective design, development, organization, delivery and evaluation of technical, industry-specific and methodology-focused training programs.
- Collaborate on Training Needs : Work closely with Learning Partners to identify and prioritize training needs across the organization based on business and performance challenges. Assist Learning Partners with the analysis phase as needed.
- Guidance on Best Practices : Provide informed guidance on best practice approaches to address identified business performance challenges with blended learning solutions.
- High-Level Design Proposals : Produce high-level design proposals / proof of concept prototypes and Statements of Work (SOW) in partnership with relevant business stakeholders and in close consultation with intended end users.
- Operational Ownership : Manage and refine processes, methodologies, and tools used for creating, curating, organizing, delivering and evaluating learning content that meets organizational goals.
- Course Catalog Management : Maintain and update the course catalog, ensuring it reflects the current training offerings and meets evolving business needs.

Full-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours
Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. Compensation Statement :
The salary range is $130,000 - $160,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
