Job description

Overview :

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Title Processor to support our Title & Escrow operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in title processing, reviewing legal documents, and collaborating with clients, lenders, and agents to ensure smooth real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review and process title orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
  • Examine property titles and prepare documents, including deeds, title commitments, and final title policies.
  • Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and clients to resolve title issues and facilitate closings.
  • Order and verify property information, including liens, judgments, and other encumbrances.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documents meet legal and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate with underwriters to address title defects and discrepancies.
  • Assist in scheduling closings and distributing closing documents.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in real estate or title processing preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in title processing or a related field.
  • Familiarity with title software systems (e.g., SoftPro, RamQuest, ResWare).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of title industry standards and regulations.

    • Skills and Competencies :

  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other title-related tools.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude.
