The Sr. UX+UI Designer will report to the Director of Digital Product. They will support the Creative & Digital teams at ILIA in website, mobile, desktop projects. Their scope of work involves building a library of design templates, styles, rules, and UX guidelines, including visual design. As the Sr. UI+UX Designer at ILIA, you must be a problem solver, balancing the needs of brand and user experience to design beautiful & functional experiences on our ecommerce site.This role is hybrid and open to candidates based in Los Angeles, CA.Responsibilities Drive UX+UI initiatives to support proper delivery of initiatives across holistic ecommerce roadmap to drive core KPIs for the channel (e.g. engagement rate, add-to-cart-rate, checkout completion rate, etc)Conduct UX research and discovery to help inform priorities of existing roadmap and backlog initiatives or to help inform new future roadmap / backlog prioritiesIdentify and solve UX+UI issues on the site with the primary focus on moving users through the conversion funnelUse a variety of methods to validate design decisions including heat-mapping tools, behavioral insights, fullstory, GA4 google analytics and focus groups to drive customer-first decisionsLeverage a forward-looking, strategic mindset in UX+UI design, to drive regular evolution of site experience, with a lens to making it easier for consumers to shop, engage, and convert on our siteCreating & maintaining a UI Library / Design System and ensuring that a consistent design language is applied across the site, email, and platform + app integrationsInterpret business needs, objectives, and direction from various stakeholders and integrate feedback appropriately into the user experienceCollaborate with product team weigh in on trade-off discussions with focus across strategic, tactical, and research projectsStrong project management skills and ability to function as project leader influencing others as well as individual contributors. Able to work well in cross-functional teams—for the UX+UI phase of the project.Drive a crawl, walk, run approach to projects balancing a north star vision while collaborating with product to create an MVP with various constraintsProduce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, FPO visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypesPartner closely with creative teams and ecommerce team to create fluid designs across all devices and a / b test new user flows.Strong communication skills. Able to present and pitch concepts clearly and convincingly to a broad range of audiences from executives to web developersAbility to set expectations on timelines for UX deliverables and larger projects and then execute against those timelines while bubbling up dependencies and / or blockersWork in an agile methodology, breaking up large projects into manageable chunks in a weekly sprint processContribute to scrum meetings including planning, backlog refinement, stand ups, and retrosMinimum Requirements 5+ years experience in responsive design and accessible design, with a mobile-first focus in ecommerce and digital shopping experienceMinimum of 5 years of web, mobile and interface design experienceProficiency with Figma design, dev mode, component + style libraries, variables, prototyping, and figjam whiteboard. CodePen and HTML editors to customize and demonstrate interactive features.Proficiency in creating, editing, optimizing digital media with Adobe suite (Media Encoder, Photoshop, Premier, Dreamweaver)Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS designHas experience creating and applying design systems that enables scalable, responsive websites and apps.Fluent in iOS, Android, responsive web UI guidelines, best practices, standards as applied to ILIA design at large.Background in ecommerce and digital shopping experiencesDTC ecommerce experience improving the conversion funnel from the collection, product, cart, to checkout pagesExperience partnering with technical front-end developers to streamline workflow and feedbackExtremely detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to take a project from concept to launch within our agile ways of working.Ability to communicate and collaborate on a cross-functional teamObsessed with good user-centered design practices and has an exceptional eye for detailExperienced in luxury beauty or fashion brand is plusWhat we would like to offer... $110,000-130,00 annually
