We are seeking a talented UI / UX Designer to join our Business Technology Operations team and help transform how our internal tools serve our growing organization. In this role, you will design intuitive, user-centered experiences for critical internal platforms and business systems that enable our teams to do their best work. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, operations leads, researchers, and cross-functional end users across Anthropic to understand complex workflows and translate them into seamless, accessible interfaces.
Our Business Technology team builds and maintains the internal infrastructure that powers Anthropic's mission-critical work. As our organization scales rapidly, we need someone who can bring user-centered design thinking to enterprise software, making complex systems feel simple and intuitive. You'll work directly with users from research, engineering, security, and operations teams to identify pain points and design solutions that improve productivity and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Design user-centered interfaces for internal business systems and operational tools used across the organization
- Conduct user research through interviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions to understand the needs of technical and non-technical users across different teams
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that solve complex workflow challenges in enterprise environments
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure designs are technically feasible and align with business requirements
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across internal platforms
- Analyze user feedback and usage data to continuously iterate and improve existing interfaces
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders across different technical backgrounds
- Partner with the Business Technology Operations team to prioritize design improvements based on user impact and business needs
