Job Posting : Program Manager – Global Operations

Location : Carlsbad, CA 92010

Pay : $44 / hr to $48.07 / hr based off experience

Duration : 24 months | Full-Time | Onsite

Position Summary :

A Program Manager is needed to lead the execution of complex global manufacturing transfer projects . This role will manage multiple initiatives including product and line transfers , new product introductions , and operations transitions across international sites. The candidate will work with globally dispersed, cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals, on-time delivery, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead planning, implementation, and delivery of multiple global operations projects

Define project scope, goals, timelines, and required resources

Create and manage detailed project documentation including schedules, risk assessments, and meeting records

Allocate resources effectively and lead cross-functional teams

Track deliverables using project management tools and report status to leadership

Communicate project updates, risks, and mitigation plans to senior stakeholders

Support post-launch evaluation, continuous improvement, and operational handoffs

Drive process optimization and participate in improvement initiatives

Coach other project leaders in project management methodologies and best practices

Ensure full compliance with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001 / 13485)

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor’s degree or higher (Operations, Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical fields preferred)

Experience : 5+ years of program management experience in manufacturing, operations, or related areas

Skills & Knowledge :

Strong understanding of program management principles and practices

Experience with risk management and resource planning

Familiarity with documentation control systems

Proficient in tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Willingness to travel up to 30% internationally and domestically

Preferred Qualifications :

PMP certification

Experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, life sciences, manufacturing)

Familiarity with cGMP, ISO standards, and quality systems

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies

Knowledge of real estate or facility project implementation is a plus

Pay Details : $44.00 to $48.00 per hour
