Job descriptionAbility to operate CNC Lathe machinery as required. Verify part quantity with the job traveler. Understanding of GD&T. Make machine adjustments as required to maintain print specifications. Ability to run more than one machine maintaining run times as required. Set-up machines. Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical and visual checks for part inspection. Maintain clean and organized department and work area. Determine when equipment requires preventative maintenance. Assist in determining tooling & fixturing needs. Take part to inspect material when necessary. Analyze blueprints & travelers. (CNC Mill experience is a plus). 2 plus years CNC Lathe Experience Required. Precision machining experience required. AS9100 is preferred . 3+ years of manufacturing or project machining Ability to use micrometers, indicators, and precision gauges. Must be able to do Setups, tooling, offsets. Ability to read blueprints. Ability to stand and walk for up to 5 hours at a time. Ability to occasionally lift boxes up to 40lbs and regularly lift boxes up to 20lbs. Compensation : $22 to $24 depending on experience + $5 differential. Health Insurance Steady schedule Friendly atmosphere
We are looking for a Night Shift CNC Lathe machine operator with a leading aerospace manufacturing machine shop producing high-precision parts for aerospace, commercial, and defense applications. You'll join the team and operate a CNC Miyano Lathe, train in the day shift for 4 to 6 weeks then switch to 2nd shift.
- Monday to Thursday, 5 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM then 3 : 30 PM to 2 : 00 AM
- $5 night-shift differential.
