We are looking for a Night Shift CNC Lathe machine operator with a leading aerospace manufacturing machine shop producing high-precision parts for aerospace, commercial, and defense applications. You'll join the team and operate a CNC Miyano Lathe, train in the day shift for 4 to 6 weeks then switch to 2nd shift.
- Monday to Thursday, 5 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM then 3 : 30 PM to 2 : 00 AM
- $5 night-shift differential.
Essential Job Functions :
Ability to operate CNC Lathe machinery as required.Verify part quantity with the job traveler. Understanding of GD&T.Make machine adjustments as required to maintain print specifications.Ability to run more than one machine maintaining run times as required.Set-up machines.Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical and visual checks for part inspection.Maintain clean and organized department and work area.Determine when equipment requires preventative maintenance.Assist in determining tooling & fixturing needs.Take part to inspect material when necessary. Analyze blueprints & travelers.(CNC Mill experience is a plus).Qualifications :
2 plus years CNC Lathe Experience Required.Precision machining experience required. AS9100 is preferred .3+ years of manufacturing or project machiningAbility to use micrometers, indicators, and precision gauges.Must be able to do Setups, tooling, offsets.Skills :
Ability to read blueprints.Ability to stand and walk for up to 5 hours at a time.Ability to occasionally lift boxes up to 40lbs and regularly lift boxes up to 20lbs.Perks :
