Dispatcher Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)
Dispatching trucks with full container loads to and from facility and port terminals.
Answer telephone calls and emails from customers and clients and directing them to relevant staff
Check container availability on line, make delivery appointments, enter data from drivers logs into computer
Organize maintenance companies to keep the office clean and safe and ensure its appliances are in good working order
Report office progress to senior management and work with them to improve office operations and procedures
Dispatcher Shift Info
Day Shift, 07 : 00 am to 03 : 30 pm
Monday - Friday
Dispatcher Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
Basic Excel and outlook
Must pass drug screen including THC for this position.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Dispatch experience needed
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Reliability and discretion
Office Administration experience preferred
Able to pass a background check
Able to work in the US
