Accountant
As an Accountant, you will serve as a key member of the Business Unit Finance team, providing direct financial support to multiple manufacturing plants. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of both Accounts Receivable (A / R) and Accounts Payable (A / P) processes, as well as supporting month-end close activities, inventory accounting, and financial reporting. You will also contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
Accounts Receivable Support
- Conduct daily review and processing of sales invoices for four manufacturing plants, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of A / R functions
- Review and process credit memos to correct invoice discrepancies, maintaining accurate customer billing records
- Partner with plant finance teams to support the timely and accurate handling of customer return credits
- Reconcile weekly sales data between the shop floor system and the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Review aged A / R and work with the appropriate contacts to resolve unpaid aged invoices and improve cash flow
Accounts Payable Support
Conduct daily review of Accounts Payable holds for four manufacturing plants, ensuring holds are resolved accurately and timelyReview aged indirect POs and follow up with the appropriate plant contacts to resolve aged open POsReview and process AP invoices related to wet goods and adhesivesProvide plant support for miscellaneous A / P issues as they arisePlant Accounting Support
Directly responsible for the general accounting and closing of a cylinder engraving plantProcess daily the transfer of data from our shop floor system to our ERP system for four plants.Support the plants as needed with processing of inventory-related transactionsSupport month-end close activities including :Creating manual journal entries for accrualsSupport inventory reconciliation from the ERP system to the general ledgerGathering and organizing support for key balance sheet accountsProvide budgeting and forecast support as neededSupport internal and external audit requestsThis position is located in our Charlotte Office (South End Area) with the potential to be Hybrid

The annual base salary range for this role is from $65,000 to $75,000
