Accountant

As an Accountant, you will serve as a key member of the Business Unit Finance team, providing direct financial support to multiple manufacturing plants. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of both Accounts Receivable (A / R) and Accounts Payable (A / P) processes, as well as supporting month-end close activities, inventory accounting, and financial reporting. You will also contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

Accounts Receivable Support

• Conduct daily review and processing of sales invoices for four manufacturing plants, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of A / R functions
• Review and process credit memos to correct invoice discrepancies, maintaining accurate customer billing records
• Partner with plant finance teams to support the timely and accurate handling of customer return credits
• Reconcile weekly sales data between the shop floor system and the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Review aged A / R and work with the appropriate contacts to resolve unpaid aged invoices and improve cash flow
