Technical Sales Representative

Job Purpose

EnerSys Delaware Inc. seeks a Technical Sales Representative to support existing customers and generate new sales in the Latin America region / territory, which includes South Florida, Central America, and the Caribbean.

This is a fully remote position, but the employee must live within commuting distance to Miami, Florida, and be available for unanticipated visits to factory locations in the south Florida market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installing test equipment, and performing power consumption studies to gather data required for the generation of application Feasibilty Studies.
  • Utilizing both proprietary and commercially available software programs to provide solution-based quotations to prospective customers.
  • Delivering results-based solutions proposals in small and large group settings, as well as online video platforms in order to secure orders for the engineered solutions presented.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or a directly related field plus three (3) years of experience in a related position
  • Experience with or knowledge of : Thin Plate Pure Lead and Lithium-Ion battery and charger products, services, and engineering design.

The sales process necessary to properly evaluate and specify the most cost-effective solutions for customers, to generate the very best Return-On-Investment (ROI) for operations.

Electrical and electronic principles. Sales, scheduling, and performance of required preventive and corrective maintenance items necessary to ensure the maximum product life and ROI for our customers.

Computer skills, to include Microsoft suite of products, Salesforce CRM, proper and effective email communication skills and the discipline to utilize these electronic tools to manage their sales support activities.

Technical sales in a similar industry or situation.

Experience can be concurrent.

Must be fluent (reading, writing, and speaking) in Spanish.
