Position Overview : Our client is currently seeking a skilled Tax Senior to join their team in Reston. In this role, you'll contribute to tax planning, compliance, and consulting services for a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.
  • Assist in tax planning and consulting projects, offering insights to optimize client finances.
  • Conduct research on tax regulations and legislation to provide guidance to clients and team members.
  • Support with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Foster client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax matters.
  • Mentor junior staff members, offering guidance and support as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax preparation and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex tax issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for client interactions and team collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Requirements
