Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, keeping the well-being of individuals and property in mind. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and maintain a visible security-related presence. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas within the retail location to observe any unusual activity and report findings as required. Document incidents and maintain accurate records in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client guidelines. Collaborate with store management and other staff to address concerns or situations that arise during the shift. Assist with access control by verifying credentials and / or managing visitor flow as needed. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver
As a Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver in Lakewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.
As a Patrol Officer at Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents while patrolling and remaining visible throughout retail and mall locations. This primarily driving post involves monitoring assigned areas, interacting with the public, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be a vital presence, supporting a secure environment through teamwork, innovation, and integrity. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
