Lab Technician
Overview :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to support product testing, troubleshooting, and general lab operations for dispenser systems. This position offers flexible hours, typically 20 - 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday) during standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Testing & Development
Conduct testing of prototype and commercial dispensers, following both standard and customized procedures.
Assemble and set up test structures; mount and prepare dispensers for evaluation.
Support the development and refinement of test methods.
Record and communicate test results to the engineering team.
Assist with troubleshooting and identifying solutions to technical issues.
Complaint Analysis & Resolution
Analyze returned dispensers to identify root causes of issues.
Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to develop corrective actions.
Recommend mechanical or electrical improvements to enhance product performance.
Contribute to training or instructional materials that support field teams and customers.
Occasional travel (up to twice per year) may be required for on-site evaluations.
Lab Operations & Maintenance
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment.
Perform regular maintenance on lab equipment and tools.
Coordinate the shipment of products and samples to external labs or customers.
Maintain familiarity with the full range of dispenser products and testing procedures.
Qualifications :
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
Basic electrical knowledge, including working with batteries and circuits.
Proficiency with computers for data entry, documentation, and test system operation.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Travel-related expenses will be reimbursed per company policy.
