Job descriptionMinimum of 2 years of construction experience Knowledge of at least one building trade and capable of performing that work without supervision Ability to read blueprints and specifications Must be a licensed driver with reliable transportation to and from job sites Has general knowledge and ability to use small tools OSHA 30 Certification Able to lift 50 lbs Able to climb ladders Attend and participate fully in Internal Mavin Company meetings Team Development Meetings Coordinate with the superintendent to ensure time is input correctly each pay period Complete expense report when applicable Assist superintendent with paperwork as requested Participate in Kickoff Meeting if applicable Assist superintendent in setting up the job site Toilet locations Secure Temporary Utilities (power, water, sewer) Temporary Fencing Office Trailer Location Assist superintendent with maintaining a safe culture and job site Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and operating Ensure all appropriate PPE is available for each respective task Ensure job site is clean and organized Supervise and participate in various construction activities as assigned. Demolition Blocking Rough and Finish Carpentry Hanging Doors and Hardware Touch-up Paint / Sheetrock Punchlists Cleaning Perform basic mathematical calculations and layout for general construction activities Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, specifications and operation guides Utilize a variety of hand / power tools and equipment Load, unload, and maneuver a variety of materials, equipment, and tools Instruct and direct construction and maintenance employees as required. Assist superintendent in ensuring work is installed in accordance with contract documents and meets quality standards Assist in troubleshooting and proactively solving issues Assist superintendent in accomplishing their self-imposed punch list prior to OAC punch list Obtain relevant certifications if required Train and mentor other Mavin employees Serves as a guide and leader for the internal team, subcontractors and vendors. Maintain a team-oriented environment and positively leads through challenges and obstacles Maintain positive relationships with all members of the project team Add value to others by coaching, mentoring and sharing knowledge to grow the company from within Add to company culture and improve overall organizational health Reports to : Project Superintendent Direct Reports : None

They report directly to the Mavin Superintendent assigned to each job and responsibilities can vary drastically from one job to another.
