Physical Therapy Center Manager | Licensed Physical Therapist & Clinic Leader

Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations of the physical therapy clinic while maintaining an active patient treatment schedule
- Develop and maintain a positive workplace culture that promotes team morale, employee engagement, and staff retention
- Supervise clinical staff including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and support personnel to ensure exceptional patient care delivery
- Oversee employee relations, performance reviews, staff scheduling, and ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures
- Partner with leadership on budget development, financial planning, and strategic initiatives to achieve referral and marketing objectives
- Manage and cultivate relationships with referring physicians, insurance payers, and patients to drive clinic growth
- Monitor and interpret financial metrics, revenue cycle management, and implement strategies to ensure clinic profitability
- Provide direct patient care including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and documentation in accordance with state practice guidelines
- Ensure effective caseload management and productivity standards for all clinical team members
- Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements, federal regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
- Oversee staff training programs, continuing education, certifications, and annual compliance training requirements
- Conduct regular staff meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical compliance audits
- Manage facility maintenance, equipment calibration, safety protocols, and ensure a clean, professional clinic environment
- Document patient progress, medical necessity, and maintain clear communication with patients, team members, and healthcare providers
Job Requirements
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited physical therapy programCurrent, unrestricted Physical Therapist state licensure in good standingCurrent CPR / AED certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers preferred)Previous leadership, management, or supervisory experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferredProven leadership and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills for patient care, team collaboration, and professional correspondenceStrong problem-solving abilities and clinical decision-making skillsProficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel)Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and insurance / reimbursement proceduresAbility to interpret financial reports and understand clinic metrics related to productivity and profitabilityPhysical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients with therapeutic activities and transfers as neededDemonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based patient careCompensation & Benefits
Annual Salary Range : $90,000 - $120,000 USD
Compensation is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and clinic performance.
