The R.A. Siegel Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative with Pricing experience. The person hired in this position will be responsible for helping to maintain the overall satisfaction of our customers. Each Customer Service Representative has a wide range of activities and goals related to the fulfillment of the company objectives which are designed to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
Essential Job Functions
Customer Service Duties
- Responsible for answering incoming residential calls from customers, sales representatives, and other personnel daily to place orders, track orders, process date changes and answer typical customer service questions and inquiries via telephone, fax, and email
- Continually learn product knowledge
- Process Sample and Display orders, returns etc.
- File back for discounts with manufacturer monthly
- Send file for buying group sales monthly to manufacturer
- Initiate and execute process improvements to increase productivity within the organization
- Other assignments and special projects as needed.
Pricing Duties
Update and maintain price lists and cost / resell filesCoordinate with management on price adjustments from Manufacturers to update systemUpdate price list forms in system to send dynamic, deviated, and buying group pricingUpdate and maintain deviated pricing by account or buying groupAdd new products into system with price lists, images, and product knowledge detailsBuild Bill of Material / Kit files when neededMaintain delivery fee and territory changesInventory Control (Back Up Only)
Serve as a backup for the purchasing agent for daily purchasing to review open purchase ordersReconcile cycle counts from warehouseApprove material for returnsStock claimsRequirements
