About The Position

Anesthesia Tech - 40hrs Day Local candidates within 60 miles

• No direct patient care. Tech will be required to bring supplies into the room and must have knowledge of procedure and equipment.
• Certs Required : BLS Cert Preferred : Cer.A.T Ratio : 1 : 4 and Weekend 1 : 2 Skills : Work Setting Required : Ambulatory OR and Operating Room Preferred : Pediatrics Skills Required knowledge only : : Endotracheal tubes, Emergency intubations, Intubating LMA, Intubation, IV insertion, Patient positioning, Patient transport, Anesthesia machine, Anesthesia machine check out and troubleshooting, Breathing circuits, ET Tube, Glidescope / video laryngoscope, IV catheters / arterial line catheters, IV pumps, Laryngoscope blades, Rapid infuser, Standard monitors, Transport monitor / transport equipment, Assist anesthesia provider in critical situations, Operating room safety including electrical / fire / infection control, Patient transport to operating room , Room set - up for first case, Room turnover, Time out process for procedures, Arterial, Central venous access and Vascular Access. Modes of anesthesia Skills : General, MAC, Regional Previous charge experience preferred 2 year of experience required Unit accepts 1st time travelers Scrub Color Blue
