Energy & Infrastructure Manager
This position is within the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation's (MPTN) Public Works, Planning & Infrastructure Management Department and reports to the Top Division Operations Executive. Energy and infrastructure management is a vital component of creating a sustainable future for MPTN. As MPTN continues to grow and develop, the demand for energy and infrastructure will continue to rise. Therefore, it is crucial to find ways to reduce our energy consumption and to use resources more efficiently.
This position is responsible for the strategic management of energy resources, sustainability initiatives, and related infrastructure projects. This position is tasked with developing and implementing systems and processes that foster sustainable growth, optimizing energy consumption, and managing infrastructure developments to enhance organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge, project management skills, and a passion for driving economic benefits through sustainable practices.
This is a newly created role and the ideal candidate will help to guide long-term thinking and strategic planning around various energy initiatives to benefit MPTN, its government, community, and all associated business enterprises.
