Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently looking for an End User Support Technician to join our team.
REQUIREMENTS
- 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to work all shifts, including night shifts, REQUIRED
- Provide on-site technical support to end users, troubleshooting software and hardware issues face-to-face, in addition to phone and email support.
- Previous work experience installing and troubleshooting common business software and hardware, i.e., Microsoft Office : 2003, 7, and 10; Adobe Acrobat, Symantec Antivirus, Internet Explorer, Active Directory, etc.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, scanners, and other end-user devices
- Basic understanding of Apple products and software is highly desired
- Respond to and resolve IT service desk tickets within established timeframes
- Superior customer service and communication skills, with a focus on providing support in person in a busy, customer-facing environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards REQUIRED
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. REQUIRED
- Reliable transportation REQUIRED
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment with a focus on delivering timely and effective technical support
- Ability to walk distances and move throughout the facility to address issues in various areas of the property
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with a diverse group of clients and colleagues
