A fast - growing market data start - up is seeking their first Cloud Engineer to build and scale the backbone of their cloud infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the platform from the ground up, working closely with engineering and product teams to deliver high - performance, reliable systems for real - time market data.

What You'll Do :

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud platforms on AWS
• Own the full life cycle of cloud engineering : architecture, implementation, monitoring, optimization, and scaling
• Establish best practices for cloud security, automation, and cost management
• Build tooling and frameworks to support data capture, processing, and distribution pipelines
• Collaborate with developers to integrate cloud infrastructure with applications and analytics systems
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all cloud engineering initiatives
• Document processes and mentor future hires as the team grows
