Maintenance Manager

gpac is working with a client company who is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a privately owned protein manufacturer that's been in business for over 60 years in the Twin Cities area and is entering a phase of growth, investment, and innovation. This is a high-impact, leadership role where you'll guide a strong but direction-needing maintenance team and help drive plant reliability, safety, and performance.
What You'll Do :
- Lead and manage a team of technicians providing structure, accountability, and support
- Create and execute a preventative maintenance (PM) program
- Oversee multiple-day shutdowns, equipment repairs, and installations
- Order parts, manage inventory, and control maintenance spend
- Set the example for OSHA, food safety, and clean working standards
- Be on the floor this is not a behind-the-desk role
- Work closely with ownership and plant leadership to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure the plant is always left in better shape than it was found
