The Chief Operating Officer, HSH and Chief Program Officer, HSH are unclassified executive positions that report directly to the Director of the Department of Homeless Services and Housing (HSH). Each executive serves as a key member of the Department's leadership team, responsible for advancing the County's unified strategy to prevent and end homelessness.
The Chief Operating Officer, HSH oversees administrative, fiscal, human resources, contracting, and compliance functions to ensure accountability, transparency, and efficiency across the Department. The Chief Program Officer, HSH leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of housing and homelessness programs, partnerships, and service delivery systems that promote equity and measurable outcomes. These are unclassified (at-will) positions.
