As a Vendor Tooling software developer, you will be part of a product and tech team focused on accelerating vendor growth, improving vendor experience (VX), and increasing employee efficiency.
Your role will involve designing and developing innovative tools that enable vendors to self-manage their business through Amazon's platforms with low cost and low friction.
You will be responsible for developing vendor-facing tools within Vendor Central, such as Voice of the Customer (VOC) to provide vendors with customer feedback, CX health metrics, and insights on product issues to improve customer experience.
Enhancing internal tools to improve employee productivity and efficiency is another key aspect of the role. This includes integrating the Sapien conversational AI to enable retail teams to find information, analyze data, and execute common tasks with minimal manual intervention.
Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including Retail, Seller Experience, and Operations teams, to understand their pain points and translate them into impactful technical solutions, will be a key aspect of this role.
You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, architecture, development, testing, and operations, delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
