Business Analyst/Consultant
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Working closely with Guernsey consultants supporting the development of electric utility rate analysis, cost of service and rate design studies for electric cooperative and municipal electric systems
- Responsible for supporting the preparation of financial analysis, financial forecasting, and economic feasibility studies
- Continual learning required to grow and be successful
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, accounting, finance, mathematics or engineering;
- Ability and desire to learn through personal mentoring and on-the-job training
- Strong analytical, writing, communication and organizational skills required
- Ability to communicate in written and oral form with both clients and other staff
- Proficient in using spreadsheet software and working knowledge of word processing software.
- Desire to work in a collaborative environment but enjoy self-direction and be able to work independently on specific project tasks and phases
Essential Physical Functions : Stand or sit must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Walk this position requires the ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
