Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time Overnight

Freedom Detox - Gastonia, NC

Pay : $35 - $39 per hour + $1.50 Overnight Shift Differential

Schedule : Full-Time | Overnight Shifts

Freedom Detox , part of Pyramid Healthcare , is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our full-time overnight team in Gastonia, NC . Our RNs play a crucial role in supporting individuals through the first critical steps of recovery from substance use disorders, ensuring clients receive safe, empathetic, and clinically sound care during detox.

What You'll Do

• Provide medical oversight and leadership for LPNs and support staff during overnight hours.
• Complete initial nursing assessments for all new admissions.
• Administer medications and manage withdrawal protocols in accordance with physician orders.
• Conduct COWS and CIWA assessments per policy and update documentation accurately.
• Educate clients about their medications and provide emotional and clinical support throughout detox.
• Collaborate with medical providers and the treatment team for ongoing assessment and medication management.
• Maintain medical supplies, ensure equipment readiness, and follow infection control procedures.
• Uphold all Pyramid Healthcare and Freedom Detox standards, trainings, and compliance requirements.
