Medical Technologist – Team Leader DAY SHIFT

Central, Georgia Only 1.5 Hours South of Atlanta

Are you ready to take the next step in your laboratory career? We’re looking for a skilled Medical Technologist – Team Leader to join a collaborative healthcare team. In this role, you’ll ensure the quality, efficiency, and safety of laboratory operations while making a direct impact on patient care.

What You’ll Do

Perform laboratory analysis on a variety of specimens to support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention.

Maintain quality assurance by adhering to established testing procedures, equipment guidelines, and corrective action standards.

Prepare reagents, manage supply inventory, and support cost-efficient lab operations.

Apply sound clinical judgment when troubleshooting equipment or testing challenges, escalating when necessary.

Assist in reviewing and updating procedures to meet accreditation and regulatory requirements (CAP, TJC, OSHA).

Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure smooth departmental operations.

Participate in staff meetings, projects, and competency assessment programs.

What We’re Looking For

ASCP-registered Medical Technologist (or equivalent).

2–5 years of relevant laboratory experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to set priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Commitment to maintaining quality and patient safety.
